NEU has a branch, and a district in Leicestershire. All NEU members are welcome to these meetings, and they are an opportunity for members to have their say, start campaigns, and hold their union to account.

District meeting

First meeting- 16th September 7:30pm

Purpose of meeting: To hold officers to account, to draft motions for NEU’s national conference, and anything else that the members want us to do.

Second meeting 20th January 2025- 7:30-9pm

Purpose of meeting: To hold officers to account, to select delegates for NEU conference, and anything else that the members want us to do.

Third meeting- district AGM- 19th May 2025-7:30-9pm

Purpose of meeting: select new officers, sign off accounts, and anything else that members want us to do.

All meetings to be held at The Belmont Hotel, (20 De Montfort St, Leicester LE1 7GR)

Branch meetings

First meeting – Branch meeting 16th September 7:30- 9:00pm- Same venue as District.

Purpose of meeting: Organising in workplaces

Second meeting – Branch meeting 3rd March 2025 7:30-9:00pm

Purpose of meeting: Organising in workplaces

Third meeting- Branch meeting 9th June 2025 7:30-9pm
